The Department Directory content type allows editors to automatically add a directory of faculty and staff who work in a specific department to Gato sites. Names, phone numbers, email addresses, and office locations of faculty and staff in the department are added and automatically updated.
The information found in the Department Directory is based off of the information found in People Search. If information is incorrect, contact Human Resources.
Add the Department Directory
- Within a layout, click the box that states Add Content.
- This requires that a section has already been created.
- Click Department Directory
- Click Next
- (optional) Enter a title.
- Select the desired department from the Department drop-down menu.
- Choose which people to display in this directory. The following options are available:
- Display all - will display all faculty and staff in the department
- Display Faculty only
- Display Staff only
- Click Save Changes
* Please note that student workers, both graduate and undergraduate, will not be displayed in the Department Directory.
