Copying and Pasting Text
The Rich Editor no longer provides buttons to copy and paste text within Gato.
Users are encouraged to use the Remove Format Tool or use the Keyboard Shortcuts mentioned below to strip all pasted text of format.
Highlight the text you would like to copy and use Ctrl+C or Cmd+C to copy.
To paste text you have already copied onto your clipboard use Ctrl+V or Cmd+V.
Note: If you have copied formatted text from Word or another location, these commands will not strip pasted text of previous formatting. Please use the Remove Format Tool.
Paste as Plain Text
Pasting as plain text removes any existing formatting present in the copied text.
To paste as plain text use Ctrl+Shift+V or Shift+Option+Cmd+V.
