The Web Governance Committee ensures Texas State websites comply with the brand, usability, and best practice standards outlined in the University Websites policy. The committee includes the AVP for University Marketing, the Chief Information Security Officer, the director for Mobile/Web Systems, and the Electronic Information Resources Accessibility Coordinator. All third-party companies and external contractors hired to work on university websites must be approved by the committee.
